A 4th generation florist, I started working at my family’s flower shop when I was just 13. My grandfather was an amazing, patient mentor who taught me the basics, but gave me plenty of freedom to experiment. Some 24 years later, I find myself using the same simple tips, tricks, and techniques to encourage women who want to learn the art of floral design.
Another trait my grandfather instilled in me was a deep desire to help others. While he’s no longer with us, his legacy lives on in my heart and the heart of so many touched by his kind spirit. To honor his legacy and help others along the way, a portion of every sale is donated to Shepherds College – the country’s leading 3-year post-secondary institution for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
